The ThermoBreak line, offered by Athena in collaboration with Sekisui, complies with the highest fire and smoke emission standards according to EN45545-2 (HL3), BS, and NFPA regulations. It is a physically cross-linked polyolefin foam, known for its flexibility and adhesive side. Ideal for extreme conditions, it is commonly used in the railway sector, for instance as a coating for train cabins and air conditioning systems.

Closed-cell expanded polyethylene. Cross-linked extruded. Excellent physical properties in the static and dynamic field Adjustable softness, elasticity, thermal strain, shock absorption. Thermal insulation, minimum water absorption, low permeability to water vapour, resistance to weathering, non-polluting, chemically inert.

Melamine foam is an open-cell material. They are strong sound and thermal insulators. Thanks to its high resistance to fire, it was classified in the Class 1 fire rating. These characteristics make this product one of the best materials for applications that require perfect sound insulation and protection against fire hazards.

Silicone materials are an organic derivative of silica and thanks to their high resistance, they can be used in any condition, even in the most extreme ones.
