Hydrogen and alternative energies

Renewable energies and sustainability are a staple in the future agendas of all countries and companies. For this reason, the leaders of the most important industrial sectors are looking for alternative energy resources, such as hydrogen, and investing more and more in solutions based on clean energy.

For more than ten years, our R&D department has been working in this direction. We have been partners of the SOSLeM project for the development of Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFC) and we collaborate with Universities & Research Centers in Italy and Europe. We are also member of the European Clean Hydrogen Alliance, to contribute our skills to the energy revolution.

Since 2009, we have been making our knowledge and technologies available to develop key components for fuel cells, such as interconnectors, insulation and seals.
Our decades of experience, specific in this innovative sector, and strong investments in research and development, make Athena the ideal partner for its customers for these new challenges.
