Environment

In 2024, Athena produced 1,450 MWh of electricity from photovoltaic sources, covering 72% of total consumption with renewable energy and further reducing dependence on fossil fuels. At the same time, the company’s commitment to waste management enabled the recovery of 573 tons of materials, representing 76% of generated waste, thus making a tangible contribution to reducing the environmental footprint and supporting the transition toward a circular economy.

People and Community

With a team of 1,010 people, Athena continuously invests in the well-being and professional development of its employees. Every year, thousands of hours of training are delivered to foster continuous growth and workplace safety. At the same time, we promote employee well-being through a structured corporate welfare program, providing support and initiatives dedicated to improving quality of life. In addition, we actively support projects and initiatives in local communities, contributing to their development and strengthening the bond between the company and its social context.

Governance

Our Code of Ethics, Internal Regulations, and Supplier Code of Conduct set clear standards to ensure fair behavior, equity, and respect for everyone’s rights. We are committed to fostering a safe, inclusive workplace in line with our Human Rights and Working Conditions Policy. Furthermore, since 2024 our new Whistleblowing channel, fully compliant with Legislative Decree 24/2023, has been operational, enabling employees and collaborators to report any violations securely and confidentially, thereby further strengthening corporate transparency and integrity.
