Bonded seal systems, also known as metal gaskets with elastomer inserts, provide a reliable solution for applications requiring efficient and secure sealing.

 

Primarily used to seal threaded and bolted connections in hydraulic and pneumatic applications, these sealing systems offer excellent resistance to high pressures and aggressive fluids, making them ideal for industrial plants, automotive, and hydraulic applications.

 

At Athena, through our specialized Technical Parts Distribution division, we offer four different types of bonded seals, each made with selected materials to ensure maximum durability and performance.

The NBR (Nitrile Rubber) versions are perfect for resisting oils and chemical fluids, while the stainless steel versions provide superior protection in highly corrosive environments.

 

Additionally, the self-centering variants enhance installation accuracy and ease, reducing setup time and increasing application safety. Depending on the customer’s needs, they can choose the most suitable solution from the standard or self-centering versions, with materials that guarantee high performance in any condition.
