Reducing heat dispersion and lowering emissions
THE PROBLEM
Thermal insulation between the exhaust system and the diesel particulate filter (DPF) is essential to ensure the efficiency and overall performance of earthmoving machinery, as well as compliance with environmental regulations on emissions.
In this case, the client turned to Athena to obtain a thermal insulation solution capable of maintaining an optimal temperature inside the exhaust system, allowing the DPF to perform its filtering function correctly in compliance with current emissions regulations.
