Athena and SWM motorcycles signed a new supply agreement

13th January 2015 – Athena & SWM Motorcycles signed an important agreement, based on innovation, technology and to promote ‘Made in Italy’ know how on motorsports, both in Italy and Worldwide.

The agreement is based on the development, production and supply of GET ECUs to SWM Motorcycles. Starting from 2016, all the bikes of this young motorcycles’ factory will be equipped by GET  ECUs as OEM supply.

Giorgio Sartori, GET Sales Manager, says: “OEM ECUs supply for an emerging company as SWM clearly shows that our strategy is also focused on OEM market, not only on aftermarket. Motorcycles’ factories recognise our products as a solution to improve engine management, to give more performances and also to respect emissions.

Ennio Marchesin, SWM Marketing & Communication Manager says: “SWM Motorcycles has just born, but has a deep know how as a motorbikes factory, which comes from a close teams of senior technicians. This allow us to follow and manage every aspect of the building of the bikes directly from our headquarters in Italy.
“Engines, frames, electronics, design, everything is studied in house,  with our great experience and attention to details, typical of Italian companies.” These are the words of  Sandro Caparelli,  SWM Sales Manager: “our aim is to meet users’ requests and tastes, and the agreement with Athena GET is one of our surplus to get this achievement”.
